A generated Casilin bath mat infographic, with Dutch callouts for the anti-slip backing and the soft pile

Casilin × Automated Commerce

Casilin generates a fresh infographic for every bath mat colourway, rewriting the Dutch callout text and swapping in the right product image from one approved master design, plus lifestyle shots of the mat in a real bathroom.

A Casilin bath mat sells on properties a photograph alone cannot show: the grip of the anti-slip backing, the depth of the pile, the absorbency underfoot. Automated Commerce built a workflow that generates the infographic explaining that, mat by mat and colourway by colourway, from a single approved master design.

About Casilin

Casilin is a Belgian home-textile brand based in Waasmunster, East Flanders, part of the Ourson group and a family business since 1988. It makes bed linen, bath linen (including the Royal Touch and Como lines) and bathrobes, selling direct to consumers and B2B into shops, hotels, B&Bs, wellness centres and interior projects. Its Shopify catalog, a Dutch-language store shipping into Belgium and the Netherlands, runs to 714 products across 1,736 variants and 29 collections.

The challenge

Casilin sells its bath mats in many colourways, and every colourway needs the same explanation told again: the anti-slip backing, the soft pile, the absorbency. A photograph does not carry that information on its own, so it has to be added as a graphic. Producing that graphic by hand for every new colour is the kind of work that quietly consumes a design team's time.

How Automated Commerce helps

Automated Commerce built dedicated infographic-generation workflows for Casilin. One approved master infographic becomes the reference. For each new mat, the workflow reads that reference, pulls in the product's own information, swaps in the correct product image, and rewrites the callout text for that specific mat in Dutch, all while keeping the layout and typography identical to the approved design.

A generated Havana mat carries callouts like 'Stevige antisliplaag' and 'Zachte bovenkant', placed exactly where the master reference puts them. A second workflow family places the mat into a real bathroom scene, producing lifestyle shots of the product in use.

The result

The infographic workflow now covers a defined slice of the Casilin range.

  • 64 production runs of the bath-mat infographic workflow, covering 36 products across the Havana, Elba, Luca, Brica and California lines.
  • 274 workflow runs built for Casilin in total, 263 completed, across a build window from February to May 2026.
  • 73 of Casilin's 714 products carry an AI-generated image, concentrated in the infographic and lifestyle-placement work.
  • Casilin's catalog runs to 714 products and 1,736 variants across 29 collections, with 637 products carrying linked media (89%).

Frequently asked questions

A photograph alone does not communicate grip, pile depth or absorbency, so many home-textile brands add an infographic that spells it out. Casilin generates a callout graphic for every bath mat that names those properties directly, with text like 'Stevige antisliplaag' for the anti-slip backing and 'Zachte bovenkant' for the soft top layer. Each graphic follows the same approved master design, so the information looks consistent no matter which mat a customer is looking at.
Doing it by hand means redoing the same layout for every colour, the kind of work that quietly eats a design team's time. Casilin's workflow instead reads one approved master infographic, pulls in each new mat's own product information, and rewrites the callout text automatically. That covered 36 products across the Havana, Elba, Luca, Brica and California lines over 64 production runs, all in Dutch.
The workflow always starts from the same approved master infographic as its reference, so layout and typography stay identical from one mat to the next. Only the product image and the callout text change, generated fresh for each item in Dutch from that product's own information. It ran 64 times across 36 products in the Havana, Elba, Luca, Brica and California lines, and Casilin also runs a second workflow family that places mats into real bathroom scenes for lifestyle shots.
A generic AI prompt cannot guarantee the same layout, font and callout positions every time, and it does not know a product's own specifications. Casilin's workflow anchors every generation to one approved master infographic and Casilin's actual product data, so the callouts are specific to that mat instead of invented. It is scoped, deliberate work rather than a blanket photography swap: 73 of Casilin's 714 products carry an AI-generated image today, concentrated in this infographic and lifestyle-placement work.
